Online Orders & Shipping

How long will my online order take to make?

Our normal production time for online orders is approximately one to two weeks. This is the time needed to prepare, make, or finish your order before shipping. Production time does not include the time your package spends in transit. Custom orders, personalized pieces, large orders, complex garments, special fabric requests, and busy seasons may require additional time.

What is the difference between production and shipping time?

Production time is the time we need to prepare or create your item. Shipping time begins after the completed order has been handed to the shipping carrier. Purchasing faster shipping does not automatically shorten the production time.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes. We offer international shipping to available destinations. International customers are responsible for customs fees, import taxes, duties, or other charges required by their country. Customs processing may also delay delivery.

Do you accept rush orders?

Rush orders may be available depending on how soon the item is needed, the type and complexity of the item, material availability, our current workload, and whether the order will be shipped or picked up locally. Rush fees are determined individually based on the project and deadline. Please contact us before ordering to confirm availability.

Will I receive tracking information?

Yes. Tracking information will be sent to the email address used at checkout once the order has shipped. Please allow time for the shipping carrier to scan and update the package.

What happens if my package is delayed?

Once an order has shipped, carrier delays are outside of our direct control. Please review your tracking information first. Contact us if the tracking has not updated for several business days, and we will help
review the situation when possible

Sizing, Cancellations & Exchanges

How do I choose the correct size?

Please use the size chart included on the product page instead of selecting a size based only on what you normally wear in stores. Handmade clothing may fit differently from mass-produced clothing. For the best fit, compare your current body measurements with the measurements listed for the item.

What happens if I am between sizes?

We generally recommend selecting the size that fits your largest measurement unless the product page states otherwise. You may also contact us before ordering for help choosing a size

Can I cancel my order?

Orders may only be canceled within 24 hours of purchase. After the 24-hour cancellation window has passed, the order cannot be canceled because materials may have been purchased and production may
have already begun. Custom-order deposits are nonrefundable.

Do you offer refunds?

We do not offer refunds. Please carefully review the product description, size chart, measurements, processing time, and shipping information before placing your order.

Do you accept exchanges?

We may accept an exchange when a standard-sized item does not fit. The item must be unworn, unwashed, unaltered, free from stains, odors, makeup, pet hair, or damage, and returned in its original condition. Customers must contact us before returning an item. We reserve the right to deny an exchange if the item does not meet our requirements.

Are custom-sized items eligible for exchange?

No. Custom-sized, personalized, altered, and specially made items are final sale and are not eligible for exchange.

Custom Orders

Do you accept custom orders

Yes. We may accept custom clothing, cosplay pieces, fantasy garments, accessories, modified versions
of our existing designs, and other special projects. Availability depends on the design, materials, deadline, budget, and our current production schedule.

How do I request a custom piece?

Please contact us with a description of the item, reference photographs or sketches, your measurements, preferred colors and materials, your requested completion date, your approximate budget, and any details that are especially important to you. Complete information helps us determine whether we can accept the project and prepare an accurate estimate.

Can I request a different color or fabric?

Color and fabric changes may be available for certain designs. Availability depends on the material, price, and current supply. Special materials or custom fabric sourcing may increase the final cost. Please
request changes before placing your order.

How are custom orders priced?

Custom-order pricing depends on the complexity of the design, materials and fabric, measurements and
sizing, construction time, embellishments, finishing details, deadline, and shipping requirements. A quote will be provided after we review the project details.

Do custom orders require a deposit?

Yes. Custom orders require a 50% nonrefundable deposit before materials are purchased or work begins.
The deposit reserves your place in our production schedule and helps cover material costs. The remaining balance must be paid before the finished item is shipped or picked up unless a different arrangement is provided in writing

Can I change my custom order after work begins?

Small changes may be possible, but they are not guaranteed. Changes that require additional materials, pattern alterations, or labor may increase the final price and extend the completion date.

Tailoring & Alterations

Where are you located?

We offer tailoring and alteration services in the Lincoln Park area of Chicago.

Do I need an appointment?

Appointments are recommended for fittings and garments that need to be examined while worn. Fittings are scheduled based on the requested date, our store hours, and current availability. Please contact us before arriving so we can confirm a fitting time.

How long do alterations take?

Alterations may take anywhere from an hour to a few days, depending on the garment, the amount of work required, whether a fitting is needed, material or zipper availability, our current workload,
whether the request is arranged online or in person, and the requested deadline. Complex alterations may take longer.

Do you offer same-day alterations?

Same-day or quick-turnaround alterations may be available for simple services when our schedule allows. Same-day service is not guaranteed and may include a rush fee.

How much do alterations cost?

Alteration prices depend on the garment fabric, lining and internal construction, number of layers, complexity of the adjustment, previous alterations embellishments, and the amount of time required. Prices listed on our website are starting estimates. A final quote may require us to examine the garment in person.

What should I bring to my fitting?

Please bring the garment, the shoes you plan to wear with it, the undergarments or shapewear you plan to wear, any accessories that affect the fit, and reference photographs for the desired look. These items help us pin and adjust the garment at the correct length and proportion.

Do you alter cosplay and costume garments?

Yes. We may work on cosplay, Renaissance, fantasy, theatrical, and costume garments. Specialty fabrics, armor pieces, glued decorations, electronics, and heavily embellished garments will need to be
reviewed before we confirm the service.

Care & Contact

How should I care for my handmade garment?

Care instructions vary depending on the fabric, trim, construction, and decoration. Always follow any care instructions included with your item or listed on the product page. When uncertain, gentle hand washing in cool water and air drying is usually safer than machine washing and drying. Structured, embellished, delicate, or costume garments may require spot cleaning or professional cleaning.

Can I iron or steam my item?

Many garments may be steamed using a low setting. Do not place a hot iron directly onto lace, vinyl, elastic, synthetic fabrics, decorative trims, printed designs, or embellishments. Use a pressing cloth and
test a hidden area first.

How can I contact the studio?

Please use our website contact form or the contact information provided on our website. When contacting us about an existing order, include your order number. For custom orders or alterations, include photographs, measurements, your requested deadline, a description of the work needed, and whether the item will be shipped or brought to us in person.

How quickly will you respond?

We answer messages as soon as possible during our regular store hours. Response times may vary during busy production periods, weekends, holidays, or while we are assisting customers with fittings.

When are fittings available?

Fittings are scheduled based on our store hours, current workload, and the date and time requested. Contact us with your preferred availability, and we will provide the closest available appointment.
